Pilipino Funny Komiks

It's amazing how this brings all the good memories of my childhood.

I still remember even now when I was only 5 or 6 years old that I started reading this. I even tell my mom to buy me this whenever she's going to the market. I have many issues of this when I was still little. I also remember the time that this comics gave me the motivation to show my talent for drawing and I always imitate the drawings of characters (which failed! Haha).

I really appreciate Funny Komiks when I was a kid. Back then, there were no PSP, PS3, internet, MP3, DVD, and ipod. All we had then was a black and white television where we watch children's programs like Sesame Street.

For some reason, I miss reading comics like this, even though the drawings are too simple, still it’s fun to read and worth the every penny you spent.

I can say now that Pilipino Funny Komiks changed the way we Filipino children lived at our time. I just realized, it's good to be a child once in a while to momentarily escape the boredom of being grown-ups.

If only I've kept every issue of this when I was a little back then, that would be a great collection for me. I sold it to the junk shop after college.. =(

Some of my favorites are:
