::: unexpected moment :::

It’s not what I planned for. It’s not what I asked someone to do it for me. But this day is what I always wanted to happen (as per my previous private blogs). It’s a day when I would be with someone whom I wanted to be with. Not even in my dreams that this day would ever come. It’s like a scripted movie. It’s when the time when you want to pause a scene in the movie because you want to absorb what has just happened. It’s the scene when his hand touches mine. I stare at him and remove it when he sees his eyes on me. We walked together towards nowhere and still never thought on sitting down. I started to feel so close to him just sitting together in a place where I don’t understand why we’ve even come there. It’s so hard to say goodbye after the day. I want to hug him at that moment and tell him how happy I am to be with him but I just can’t. If there is only a rewind button for that moment, then I would do it. I feel total happiness just because of these moments. Suddenly, I am asking myself, “Why I am feeling so happy after this day?” I am not sure, but I am sure of one thing: I never felt so happy like this before. Is this love? A deep infatuation? I don’t know. It just happened for 7 hrs maybe. I don’t even know if it would ever happen again. If not, I would forever cherish this day. I am not anticipating but I am very hopeful for another great day with my one great love… (eeewww baduy but true)

Ricky Rubio... The Next Big Thing! Ü

The last time I watched the olympics, it was Spain vs USA in the finals. Obviously, I was rooting for USA to win the gold because of Kobe. But then I saw this young man with the "Beatles-like" haircut and struck me most. The announcer keeps telling that he's been in the Spain National Team since he's 14 years old and I was shocked. Right now, he's just an 18 year old kid. Since then, I used to get updates on him on the internet and as per the ESPN.com's projected draft next year, he'll be in the Top 10 list. I won't be surprised because this Spaniard teammate of Pau Gasol is really amazing on his passes, just need to workout more and shoot well. Good luck and I will follow his basketball career as of now (just like Kobe...) Ü

Good Morning Consul!!! Ü

I've waited for almost a month for this day... Finally it's October 30!!!

I woke up early in the morning, thinking and hoping only 1 thing... to pass my US Visa interview. I am sick because of cough and colds but I still managed to go in the US embassy on time with my family. My interview is 7:30AM and I was there by 6:30AM. The process is just easy and very efficient. But my gosh! I waited there until 10AM because there are many applicants. I think they arrived in the embassy by dawn. Anyway, I was so calm and cool before the interview. My number is 2088. I was just sitting, waiting for my turn to see the consul then when it's already 2080, I went to the restroom to pee Ü Maybe that's a sign of my nervousness. Here comes my turn... the consul is just too snobbish. He didn't smiled at me once. But still I am very in "smiling mode". Here's the interview transcript as far as I can remember:

1.) Why are you going to the US?
"I want to visit some tourist attractions and go sightseeing."

2.) Age?
"23"

3.) 23? (looking shocked)
"Yes."

4.) Single?
"Yes."

5.) Ever travelled internationally before?
"Yes last August this year in Bangkok Thailand."

6.) How much savings do you have?
"xxx Philippine Peso"

7.) How did you earn that?  (looking shocked, again)
"I worked in HSBC since 2005"

8.) Since your 18? (looking shocked, again, again)
"No, since I'm 19 years old"

9.) Who is Mario Guce?
"He's my sister's brother-in-law."

10.) Do you have any relatives or friends in the US?
"I have no immediate relatives there."

11.) I am not asking for immediate relatives, do you have any relatives or friends in the US?
"None." (KC, you're not listening!")

12.) Why going to the US now?
"My sister's going in the US on February or January..."

13.) And you're coming with her?
"Yes"

After about 10 seconds...

14.) You're visa is approved. Just wait for your passport and proceed to the courier service.
"Thank you very much!"

Whew! What a relief!!! I wonder if it's single or multiple entry... maybe next week, the passport will be delivered already. I'm so excited! Oh well, after US embassy, my family's waiting outside and I delivered the good news. We went to 168 and Quiapo... of course, it's one whole latta treat for myself ÜÜÜ Congrats to me. It has been one good day. Deo Gratias.

Sulyap

Araw-araw kitang nakikita
Palagi ka sa aking alaala
Mga nakaw na sulyap
Sa iyo’y naiilap

Tanging hiling sa Maykapal
Magparamdam aking mahal
Pagkat pag-ibig ko’y tunay
Puso ko’y hindi masuway

Nais ipakita ang saya
Ngunit ako ay nangangamba
Sa akin’y umiwas
Lihim ko’y magwakas
