Can anyone upload or sell a DVD copy of this 90s game show?

On-the-Go

Oh C'mon Lakers!

My Lakers right now is 2nd in the West, 33-14 behind the surging Spurs this NBA season.

The Lakers just lost to the Kings in their home court today. I'm not surprised. Good news though is that Kobe passed Hakeem the Dream for 8th All-Time on the NBA scoring list. There are so many winnable games this season that the Lakers actually wasted including the blow-out game to the Milwaukee Bucks. There are sooo many good teams this season and as expected this is by far the most exciting season to watch. But still I think that the Lakers are just fine. They just need a little motivation. Maybe the Zen Master need to do something like a movie night again just like last season. Haha.

LezGo Lakers! Boston and Spurs are next.. Will it be the Laker Team we've in the Finals? I hope so.

The Social Network

Finally watched this film.

I now understand why it bragged so many awards in the recent held Golden Globe Awards.

I actually liked it. It was actually a pretty good film. But not cool.

Jesse Eisenberg, Andrew Garfield and Justin Timberlake. I enjoyed that.

Jesse Eisenberg as Mark Zuckerberg was a geeky, awesome jerk. Looks so real.

I've learned so many interesting things about the youngest billionaire in the world right now and of course, the history of Facebook.

After watching the film, I watched the interview of Mark in 60 minutes here and watching him is truly weird ~ Good weird.

The Sorcerer's Apprentice

I hate it.

I mean I hate it that I missed to watch this on the theaters last year.

Just watched it this week in my iPhone and this is definitely going to my Disney list, my #2, right after Pirates of the Caribbean.

What I like the most is the music.. the score.. the theme song!

OneRepublic's "Secret" became my instant favorite.

Of course I love Jay Baruchel after seeing him from She's out of my League and hearing his voice as "Hiccup" in How to Train Your Dragon.

Nicolas Cage is great too.

Nice story. Very light but fun to watch.

A magical, true Disney movie that is flawlessly amazing.

The effects, the sets, the music, and everything was just beautiful.

Looking forward to its part two..

Just Got Flipped

This is the cutest, awesome-est, most realistic childhood sweetheart movie that I’ve watched. EVER.

Way way better than My Girl & Little Manhattan.

Madeline Carroll and Callan McAuliffe were both amazing and freaking adorable!

I smiled and flipped all throughout this movie.

It was sweet, light, funny and definitely a feel good flick.

Please watch this film, it’s really really nice.

So many quotes I loved.. Here are some:

-----------------------------♥♥♥

My heart stopped. It just stopped beating. And for the first time in my life, I had that feeling. You know, like the world is moving all around you, all beneath you, all inside you, and you’re floating. Floating in midair. And the only thing keeping you from drifting away is the other person’s eyes. They’re connected to yours by some invisible physical force, and they hold you fast while the rest of the world swirls and twirls and falls completely away.

"Some of us get dipped in flat, some in satin, some in gloss; but every once in a while, you find someone who's iridescent, and once you do, nothing will ever compare."

Somehow, the silence seemed to connect us in a way that words ever could.

You can’t dwell on what might have been…and it’s not fair to condemn him for something he hasn’t done.

No More "Rafa Slam"

Rafael Nadal's quest to become the first man in 42 years to win four straight grand slam events has ended cruelly, with a hamstring injury leading to a limp Australian Open quarter-final exit against fellow Spaniard David Ferrer.

The reigning French Open, Wimbledon and US Open champion, would have been within two victories of the historic feat - last accomplished by Australian legend Rod Laver in 1969 - had he overcome the seventh seed.

But despite Nadal having won their previous seven meetings, with Ferrer claiming a set in just one of those, the lower-ranked player took advantage of his weakened opponent to win 6-4 6-2 6-3.

Ferrer will play Scottish fifth seed Andy Murray in a semi-final, with Murray, along with the other semi-finalists Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, no doubt fancying their title chances more now that Nadal is out of the picture.

While Nadal won the Australian Open in 2009, Melbourne Park has since been the scene of two major disappointments.

Last year, he retired with a knee injury from a quarter-final when trailing Murray.
That was the only time he has failed to complete a grand slam match and also his last defeat at a major before losing to Ferrer, which broke a 25-match grand slam winning streak.

Nadal was dogged by illness coming into the Open, but had not dropped a set previously this tournament and showed no sign of injury when he started against Ferrer.

But, after a long first three games, the top seed called for a trainer and then a medical time-out.
After leaving the court, he returned with his upper left leg strapped and, obviously struggling, quickly fell down 5-2.

Ferrer muffed a chance to serve out the set at 5-3 and needed three set points in the following game to take the crucial one-set lead.

He also dropped serve early in the second, but sustained his level enough to win 11 of the last 14 games of the match, as the physical and emotional strain drained his countryman.
An increasingly morose Nadal showed spirit and sportsmanship by refusing to retire against his Davis Cup teammate.

Earlier, Murray booked his semi-final berth more predictably, with a 7-5 6-3 6-7 (3-7) 6-3 win over unseeded Ukrainian Alexandr Dolgopolov.
Murray, chasing his first grand slam title, admitted to finding Dolgopolov - who had ousted former finalist Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and world No.4 Robin Soderling in the previous two rounds - a "tricky" and unconventional opponent.

But despite conceding his first set in the tournament, Murray said he never felt in trouble.
The Scottish star, who lost last year's final in straight sets to Federer and did the same thing in the final of the 2008 US Open, said he did not feel mounting pressure to break his grand slam duck.

"It's still the same as when I first was giving myself chances to win slams. It's still exactly the same as it was then. But it's not something that I lose sleep over," he said.

A gracious Ferrer said it was not a nice way to reach his second grand slam semi-final.
"I did my game, I played, I received, I would try to go into the net," he said.

"But if Nadal wasn't injured he would normally have won in three sets. This is a victory for me, but it's not how I like victory normally."

1.22.06

Five years ago, my dad called my mobile and said, "You should see Kobe's points right now.." and I was like "Are the Lakers winning?" and he said, "Just check the scores.."

Then I checked in my office mate's internet and my gosh.. 71 points.. then 73.. 76.. 78.. 81!!!

I remembered Jack Nicholson missed this historical game when he had all the season tickets, he was very regretful for missing that night.

Kobe said that what is really special about that night is that it is the only game his grandmother ever has attended. It was on the birthday of his grandfather, who had died in 2001.

Perhaps the finest performance on a basketball court ever.. Will it ever happen again?

Congrats, Kurt!

Golden Globe Award Winner 2010,
"Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or
Motion Picture Made for Television"

His reaction was priceless. Maybe he's not expecting it at all. Like the other cast of Glee sitting beside him, my eyes are also teary. He truly deserves it. His speech was good mainly speaks against bullying - "To all the amazing kids that watch our show and the kids that our show celebrates that are constantly told no by the people in their environments, by bullies at school -- that they can't be who they are or have what they want because of who they are. Well... screw that, kids."

The Green Hornet

I don't have any idea about the original story behind Green Hornet movie but with all the good movies in theaters right now, I watched Green Hornet because of funny Seth Rogen (starring in Knocked Up - my favorite!) with a bunch of my friends last Friday. His sidekick is named "Kato" which is played by Taiwanese Jay Chou who is actually a famous singer. I heard his role was played by Bruce Lee in the original film. Also in the movie is the really cute Cameron Diaz who played as the mutual love interest of both guys. Not a bad casting decision I would say. The movie has loads of fun. Jay Chou is amazing in the action scenes.. awesome fighting sequences.. but I would say he needs improvement in delivering his english dialogues. But still I enjoyed this film with nicely spaced humor, explosives, and excitement. So if you guys just wanna relax after a hectic week, try going to the movies and watch Green Hornet! =)

Kiss On My List

by Hall & Oates (my current LSS because of You Again movie..)

My friends wonder why I call you all the time,
What can I say?
I don't feel the need to give such secrets away
You think maybe I need help though I know i am right, all right
I'm just better off not listening to friends advice

When they insist on knowing my bliss,I tell them this
When they want to know what the reason is
I only smile when I lie, then I tell them why

Because your kiss, your kiss is on my list
Because your kiss, your kiss is on my list
Because your kiss is on my list of the best things in life
Because your kiss, your kiss is on my list
Because your kiss, your kiss I can't resist
Because your kiss it's what I miss when I turn out the lights

I go crazy wondering what there is to really see
Did the night just take up your time, cause it means more to me
Sometimes I forget what I'm doing, I don't forget what I want,what I want
Regret what I've done, regret you? I couldn't go on

But if you insist on knowing my bliss,I'll tell you this
If you want to know what the reason is
I only smile when I lie, then I'll tell you why

Because your kiss, your kiss is on my list
Because your kiss, your kiss I cant resist
Because your kiss is what I miss when I turn out the lights

A&S Thanksgiving Party 2010

I super enjoyed our A&S Thanksgiving Party 2010 last night! Of all the A&S Activities I had in three months, this is my most favorite!

I am not a drinker but hell yeah I really make the most out of the free booze c/o Boss Lance.

We also had fun because of Spens a.k.a Shalala doing the A&S Blind Items. My gosh I missed a lot of them because most of the blind items are those things that happened last A&S Summer Outing which I am not present. But they still told me who is the blind item. Spens is really funny!!! Super like. After the blind items, we played 0-0-7 Bang Ahh --> the reason why I had the most shots. I was surprised that I didn't quit and never really got drunk and fainted. But Joel noticed me staring for a moment in the shot glass that I am unaware of and they all laughed! After the laughing sessions, we took our time holding the microphone especially Spens, Cha, Jeric, and Sir Gani. I was amazed how drunk they are that they loved my voice when I sang "Luha" by Aegis and Spens was like "Girl, ang ganda ng boses mo ha!" so I finished the song while Spens rendering the second voice.. so funny! After that, me & Spens did the remix version of "Ulan" by Cueshe. Then I had the duet of "Stupid Luv" with Jeric. And for the finale, I had "Bakit Ba Ganyan?" & "Creep" duet with Sir Gani.

This night was really fun. This maybe our last time together. I am truly happy that I got the chance to participate in the A&S activities and be with these wonderful people especially funny moments with Spens. I will miss my busy times with A&S. I have learned so many things and known so many people because of this. So Goodbye and Thank You A&S 2010!!!

Black Swan

“The only person standing in your way is you.” Thomas Leroy

All I can say is wow. It was amazing. It deserves like a billion oscars!

Genius script. The film was artistic, psychotic and beautiful at the same time.

Natalie Portman is just stunning in this role. She played it like no one else could.

Mila Kunis is just perfect. “That” scene – totally hot! Better than “Chloe”

It’s a deep and complicated story line, but once you understand it, you’re gonna be amazed by it.

Black Swan displays true heart and passion. This film is the reason why we call film a form of art.

I highly recommend it.

Lisztomania

I super love this song from Phoenix:

So sentimental
Not sentimental no !
Romantic not disgusting yet
Darling I'm down and lonely
When with the fortunate only
I've been looking for something else
Do let do let do let jugulate do let do let do

Let's go slowly, discouraged,
Distant from other interests
On your favorite weekend ending
This love's for gentlemen only
That's with the fortunate only
No I gotta be someone else
These days it comes it comes it comes it comes it comes and goes

Lisztomania
Think less but see it grow
Like a riot, like a riot, oh !
I'm not easily offended
It's not hard to let it go
From a mess to the masses

Lisztomania
Think less but see it grow
Like a riot, like a riot, oh !
I'm not easily offended
It's not hard to let it go
From a mess to the masses

Follow, misguide, stand still
Disgust, discourage
On this precious weekend ending
This love's for gentlemen only
Wealthiest gentlemen only
And now that you're lonely
Do let do let do let jugulate do let do let do

Let's go slowly, discouraged,
We'll burn the pictures instead
When it's all over we can barely discuss
For one minute only
Not with the fortunate only
Thought it could have been something else
These days it comes it comes it comes it comes it comes and goes

Lisztomania
Think less but see it grow
Like a riot, like a riot, Oh !
I'm not easily offended
It's not hard to let it go
From a mess to the masses

Lisztomania
Think less but see it grow
Like a riot, like a riot, Oh !
I'm not easily offended
It's not hard to let it go
From a mess to the masses

Never do this!

OMG. This is very disturbing. I feel sorry for this girl who was identified as Jessica Mazon - a 15 year old from Santa Carina, Brazil. Here's what he wrote on her blog in Portuguese but translated in English by a fan:

My name Jessica Mazon, 15 from Santa Catarina. I am somewhat complicated and somewhat confusing. I’m sincere too, have many quirks, my love of music is indescribable. I always want to get what I want and dream high, love to write about everything, especially feelings. I like using all-star and jeans. I do not like clothes too much. Sometimes I like to stay at home watching film, sometimes I like to hang out with my friends. One of my dreams is to go Paris. I do not like people shoved, nobody is better than anyone. I’m passionate about children, dogs and shot?. I tell myself. I do not like guys who do everything to show off, I believe everyone has something special inside, waiting to fit into someone else.

I think love is the foundation of everything that can transform people and change the world. I’m shy, but outrageous. I am confident, discreet and indiscreet. I need friends around me, sometimes I feel lonely even when surrounded by people. I often keep my feelings just for me, I hide the tears drop. I Love teddy bears in particular “Fufi” (my bear), high heels, food and dancing wildly, scream, jump and do whatever I want. I want to go further back, love to travel, I love perfumes, and voices calms me.

And finally I can say that the most important person to me in the world is, yes it’s Justin Bieber, my greatest inspiration, which makes me believe, my biggest dream, my fantasy, the one guy can make me lose reason, make my heart race, make me able to have the courage to face everything in life .. Yes he is not the average boy but I love him, And he is so much more than that.

When the PAIN inside is too BIG, we need to make it better in any way..

That’s me, full of defects and failures.

Justin "Belieber"

After watching Justin Bieber in American Music Awards 2010, I am now officially a certified JB fan. Great great song. I believe he is one of the writers of this song. According to him, he was inspired by Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror" when writing the song. Heard his coming to Manila in May 10 but why oh why in MOA Concert Grounds? Tsk tsk.

Anyway, check out his amazing performance below:

American Idol's Best

American Idol is just about the corner. It will premiere on January 19 and I am very excited!

Hope this season is gonna be a "competition" just like Season 7 - the best season when all the Top 6 are great..

I'm trying to revisit all the classic performances I've watched and here's my list of the best eva!

Carrie Underwood - Alone

In my opinion, the best performance in American Idol history. No one ever top this performance.

Carly Smithson - Jesus Christ Superstar

Sad to say that this is her elimination song but I agree with the judges that this is her best performance in the show. Amazing huge voice!

Adam Lambert - The Tracks Of My Tears

The best performer in the show ever. I take a good look at his face and melt.

see video here

Adam Lambert - Mad world

Great cover of the song. Awesome. Chills up my spine.

see video here

Adam Lambert - Black or White

His first Top 12 Performance - Michael Jackson song - he nailed it.

see video here

Fantasia Barrino - I believe

This is the one and only song that I ever loved from Fantasia. This one went straight to my heart.

Jasmine Trias - Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me

The word "pitchy" became so popular because of Jasmine. I don't know why the judges are always harsh to her. She's good but yeah compared to Fantasia.. But she made it to Top 3, thanks to her asian followers.

Contantine Maroulis - Bohemian Rhapsody

This guy was the only one that gave justice to any Queen song. Rock on!

Elliot Yamin - Knocks Me Off My Feet

Adam Sandler is that you? He's the best in Season 6. Amazing soul performance.

Anthony Fedorov - I Want To Know What Love Is

This is the only guy that really pulled off this song in AI. I'm kinda surprised.

Carly Smithson - Here You Come Again

This Dolly Parton song became my instant favorite because of her. I think she turned a dated song into a modern ballad and it's dreamy. She's fantastic!

Brooke White - I Am ... I Said

I will always remember when she forgot the lyrics in her "You must loved me" performance. But I liked her very much in Season 7. She put every emotion on every song she performed. In addition to her great voice, she sings with her fingers. The piano is like an extension of her voice.

David Archuleta - Long and Winding Road

This is one of the Beatles song that I like. Coming from a horrible "We can work it out" performance a week before, he made sure to deliver an outstanding performance and he did. One of the best singers ever in Idol, and the most charming.

David Archuleta - Think Of Me

I guess, he could have won the title if he waited one year. His smile is enough to capture the audience. This song is actually a female original but he came with his original version and it actually sounds better.

Carrie Underwood - Inside Your Heaven

One of Carrie's amazing performances. Beautiful voice, beautiful face, beautiful idol.

Carrie Underwood - Making Love Out Of Nothing At All

FYI. She had sinus infection in this performance. Truly Astonishing. Best female performer in the show ever.

Carrie Underwood - Angels Brought Me Here

Effortless. Just pure talent. Simon Cowell was like "Carrie, after a performance like this, you've done enough to win this competition. Congratulations!"

David Cook - The Music of the Night

Cook singing Phantom of the Opera was like "What?" But this was epic. He sounded perfect.

David Cook - Always Be My Baby

Need I say more? This song became an instant classic. I don't know if people even remember this as a Mariah Carey original after this performance.

Jason Castro - Somewhere Over the Rainbow

He totally stole this cover style from Israel Kamakawiwo'Ole from 50 First Dates Soundtrack. Thank goodness he's adorable. Haha.

Jason Castro - Hallelujah

One of the best perfomances in AI. A Jeff Buckley original but sorry this is better than his. Truly inspirational. Nice clean voice.

Michael Johns - A Day In The Life

He has a unique style when singing. This song is too big for anybody to sing. Nobody can top John Lennon or Paul McCartney. Not the perfect performance but definitely very good.

Carly Smithson - Blackbird

Another Beatles's song in AI. Carly can do every genre with her powerful voice. I just loved her.

Jason Castro - Forever in blue jeans

He introduced me with this song and I loved it.

Ju'Not Joyner - Hey There Delilah

One of the best in Season 8 but he didn't made the Top 12. I love the Plain White T's version but he made his own R&B version. Great performance!

Kris Allen - Falling Slowly

This is an original song from Once soundtrack. Because of this performance, he put Adam Lambert on a pedestal. It is a very moving and heartfelt performance.

listen to his performance here

Casey James - Jealous Guy

His best performance in the show. Absolutely amazing. Any doubt why he is Kara Dioguardi's apple of the eye?

Casey James - Heaven

Great voice. Killer smile. Clean-looking guy even with that kind of hair. Very handsome indeed. Feels like heaven?

Katie Stevens - Let it be

Beautiful rendition of a very famous Beatles song. She had the most emotional moment when she sung this as she was voted off. Randy Jackson was like, "Listen, this is your best performance ever. Dude, those were hot vocals, that was ridiculous, this is why you're in the top 9"

Michael Lynche - It only hurts when I'm breathing

I don't like him but I liked this performance. Shania Twain must be happy to hear this version.

Siobhan Magnus - Across the Universe

What can I say? I love this girl. She's my girl version of Adam Lambert. This is my favorite performance from her. I love the Beatles but OMG, I know John has to be loving this up there!

Siobhan Magnus - Through the fire

Screaming? Well for me this version is nice. C'mon! She's so underrated in this show.

Siobhan Magnus - Superstition

She's beautiful, talented, such a sweetheart, and did I mention incredibly talented?

Siobhan Magnus - Think

I'm speechless. That last note.. whoa!
