Sunz En Coron Resort in Coron

Since we are staying in Coron for 5 days and 4 nights, we decided to book two different hotels. Leaving Asia Grand View is hard because I'm in love with place but since the booking has been made beforehand, we went to Sunz En Coron for our third and fourth night. It is just around 10-15 minutes from Asia Grand View.

When we arrived in Sun, we are welcomed by the Korean owner who is very nice and friendly. Also, we are offered some welcome drinks and the server explained the house rules of the resort.

Compared to Asia Grand View, Sunz is only a simple resort with with ground rooms around the swimming pool. The pool changes its color every few colors from blue, green, and red. This is nice during night time, a little different from the usual pools.

What I like about Sunz is that it is very intimate and quiet especially at night when you can stay and hang out in their cabanas which has its own electric outlet and fan above. Nice.

We had a semi-deluxe room which is just enough size for two persons. The bathroom is small compared to Asia Grand View. For the breakfast, they offer continental or Filipino set meals. They also offer free tricycle when you want to go to the town so this is also a good thing.

At night, you can hear the sound of tuko/gecko because every room has its window. I woke up every night because the tuko is very loud it is as if beside me or inside the room. I'm quite scared of it.

Overall, Sunz En Coron is a good experience for us.

I only have other concerns in the resort. The bathroom has no divider so the floor is often wet. Don't expect too much from the room except for the TV. The pool at night has many insects that's why I got itchy afterwards. Also, wi-fi connection can only be used outside the room.

I think Sunz En Coron still has improvements to do. This is only a new resort so I guess some and I'm sure they will eventually get to this.
