Letters to Juliet

"love has no expiration date.."

If you are a fan of movies about love and destiny, then this may be one you'll like. Letters to Juliet is based on the Nicholas Sparks romance novel which tells a story of a young American girl, Sophie (Amanda Seyfried), who travels to the city of Verona, Italy with her fiancĂ© Victor (Gael Garcia Bernal) for the pre-wedding honeymoon. There she finds an unanswered letter to Juliet from 50 years ago. Inspired by the long lost love between Claire (Vanessa Redgrave) and Lorenzo Bartolini (Franco Nero). Sophie joins in the amazing journey of finding Claire’s long lost love, which sets off a series of events unimaginable to them.

I can' t forget the role of Amanda in Chloe but at the end of the movie, I see her adorable side again. I don't like the Charlie (Christopher Egan) which plays as the grandson of Claire. I think he's not the ideal romantic guy suited for the movie and he's acting is just weird for me. The plot is just so unique and touching. I got teary-eyed at some point when they talked about Sophie's lost. Overall, this movie is fun to watch because of the beautiful scenarios of Verona and landscapes of Tuscany. I would certainly recommend this to those who love chick flicks. Still, it is definitely worth the ticket price with a great soundtrack to go together with the love story.
