Watching FIBA is not healthy for me - staying up late isn't fun but the 2010 World Championships were extremely entertaining and competitive. Kevin Durant is a beast - winning tournament MVP - really showed the world the calibre of player he is, scoring at will but also showing a tenacity on defense.
I'm afraid he will develop and improve more on his scoring, defense, overall versatility and ability to facilitate on the offensive end - beware Kobe. Luis Scola, Linas Kleiza, and Milos Teodosic also made their team on the hunt for Gold. Congratulations to my Laker Odom who is a big key to US win over Turkey. All 15 of Odom’s points and eight of his rebounds came in the second half, and he scored nine of his team’s first 13 points to open the fourth quarter, helping to keep Turkey from getting back into the contest. Well done US Team!
