NBA All-Star Weekend 2011

The 2011 NBA All-Star Weekend has come to an end, but not without any highlights.

Justin Bieber won the Celebrity shootaround contest MVP.. such a kid! (haha!) Sorry I'm a Bieber fan but this is funny..



John Wall should have shared the MVP trophy with Cousins.

I always enjoyed watching the All-Star Weekend especially the Dunk Contest. There are so much hype with Griffin joining the event. But I think the REAL winner should be McGee. If Griffin jumped over the roof of the car then that's amazing. Well, maybe McGee should try again next year.


Ibaka's free throw line dunk should be 50 but I think the judges are looking for the "hangtime".. DD's behind the legs dunk off the backboard was nice too.


Well, anyhow, the Clippers rookie dazzled the crowd - thanks to his coach, Kenny Smith and the nice car!


Unfortunately, I didn't had the chance to watch the All-Star game (as usual!) but I saw the highlights. The West overcame the East with a final score of 148-143. From the very start of the game, I know that Kobe wanted to win the MVP by scoring as many as he can and showing his "young" knee in the game by dunking baseline and by posterizing Lebron.


Kobe Bryant took home his fourth MVP award for the game. Thanks to clutch shooting from Durant.

Overall, this year's event, in Los Angeles, did deliver some entertainment.

Justin Bieber's New Haircut

Justin Bieber's hair is being sold on eBay.

The world's famous Canadian Pop-R&B singer recently had his famous locks cut and they are now listed on the internet auction site with the current top bid at $7,200.

Justin also dropped by Ellen DeGeneres' show and brought her some of his cut hair, for a belated
birthday present. He told Ellen that he got inspired by how Ellen make her hair.



The world's famous Canadian Pop-R&B singer also suggested that Ellen auction it off for charity.

Here's how the interview goes:

Ellen: Look at your cute little haircut! You got a brand new haircut. Don’t you love his haircut? Cheers I like it.

Justin: I was inspired by yours.

Ellen: By my haircut?

Justin: By yours.

Ellen: I know, eventually it’d come around. It’s adorable. Were people like, “Hey, don’t cut it!” Were people freaking out?

Justin: Yeah, but I was like, “I don’t really care.”

Ellen: I like it because you can’t do the same thing over and over again. You have to change it up. I think it’s great. I love your haircut.

Justin: Thank you.

OMG. This is very disturbing. I feel sorry for this girl who was identified as Jessica Mazon - a 15 year old from Santa Carina, Brazil. Here's what he wrote on her blog in Portuguese but translated in English by a fan:

After watching Justin Bieber in American Music Awards 2010, I am now officially a certified JB fan. Great great song. I believe he is one of the writers of this song. According to him, he was inspired by Michael Jackson's "Man in the Mirror" when writing the song. Heard his coming to Manila in May 10 but why oh why in MOA Concert Grounds? Tsk tsk.

The report says Justin Bieber's "Baby" is the most watched video in YouTube's history. More than 249 million watched it and still counting. Well I am not one of those crazy "Beliebers" but I am a fan especially the Baby song as we always dance it every tuesday at Retro. I am amazed with this Canadian pop singer who was discovered on YouTube because he writes his own music. He is really talented. Well, congrats. This video reminds me of my Universal Studios Trip.
