Wow.
Finally this is over.
Just a one night event but Cha & I have been preparing for this in like 3 weeks!
I did all the questions with some contributions from the A&S but hell yeah it is hard to choose the questions for some reason! Luckily I have my internet in the office so I got the chance to really check the correct answers.
It's our first time to really be in-charge of the Trivia Night so not everything was perfect.. we forgot to reserve a projector/screen/permit before the event itself.. thankfully Sir Dennis Galimba was nice to me he did the permit quickly.. thanks also to the Admin team for the screen and to CAO for the projector haha. At the end of the day, I felt a little stressed but more importantly I am more than happy. Everything just went well and everyone is happy. I think everyone enjoyed the event. I actually prepared 20 questions per round but only 8-10 questions were asked due to time constraint. My favorite would be the "Joseph the dreamer" answer! Winner!
Congrats to Yellow & Blue Team.
They really deserved to win.
Green Team struggled in the Difficult round. Geez. But we will be more ready by July.

So far so good. Number 2 is safe.
I think San Antonio is a sure lock on the number 1 spot already.
Playoffs is near.
My relaxed days won't be the same again.

American Idol 10 Update
Okay by this time I'm sure everyone knows the Top 10 already.
Fortunately, the Pinay Thia Megia was included in the list even though the judges were kinda rough on her the past couple of weeks.

Karen should have been in the Top 10, not Haley.
I don't like Jacob Lusk!
I like Paul's dancing my gosh! Just so charismatic and adorable.
I'm still waiting for Lauren's breakout performance.
Scotty is cute. I don't like country music, but Scotty just sounds and looks good on TV.
Stefano sings better since the wildcard episode.
Casey Abrams' Nirvana performace is starting to be my favorite this season.
James Durbin - one Adam Lambert is enough.

Joseph the Artist, a tricycle driver form Laguna, won P1M cash prize, a brand new Chevrolet car, a four year scholarship at Immaculate Conception International (ICI) and the privilege to represent the country at the World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA) in Hollywood.

How Do You Know / Just Go With It
Today, I had my chance to watch two chick flicks..
How Do You Know - With the complete amazing cast, I can't believe I'm saying this - it is INSANELY boring. Sorry. Such a paradox. It's just a perfect example of a movie that will make you sit and stare at the end credits thinking like "so that's it?".. It’s nowhere near funny. Paul Rudd's cuteness was the only positive thing in the film for me. I sooo love Reese, but not in this movie.
Just Go With It - Heard from my friends that this film is good so I watched it. Wow. Jennifer Aniston can't be 42! She's still very beautiful. About the movie, well it's hilarious but won't be my favorite. Still, it is a feel good movie. And one more thing, I heard the most amazing mash up ever - Chasing Cars & Every Breath You Take ~ or simply "Every Car You Chase" - Must listen.

Prayers to Japan
So, I’m sure everyone heard about the tsunami in Japan? Our thoughts are with everyone in Japan and hopefully there won’t be anymore lives lost than there all ready have been. 
I can't stand watching the videos or just simply hearing stories about what happened in Japan. It saddens me and hurts me more that I can’t do much to help than pray. I can’t even imagine these horrible videos are for real. It was just like one of those disaster movies I’ve watched before. But on the back of my mind, it could be worse if the structures of the buildings are weak. Japan’s engineering was really amazing. Magnitude 8.9 in the Philippines I think will bring all of the structures down.
Imagine seeing this.. just like the movies..
Well, so here I am thinking aloud the aftermath of the quake and tsunami..
While we’re here worrying about our work, someone out there just lost his home. While we’re here thinking of what to eat later, someone in Japan just lost his family. While we’re here fretting about the slightest issues in our lives, someone out there is devastated by something that is beyond his control.. It’s so sad how we need disasters like this to happen to appreciate what we have and to realize how small and insignificant and fragile our lives really are.

Coincidence?
I think for most Christians, we know the “signs”.. But it isn’t something we like to think of. We know Christ is coming back, but no one really likes the idea of how everything as we know will one day disappear. All these natural disasters in Haiti, New Zealand, Queensland, China & now Japan.. I don’t believe it’s a coincidence. I think we’re nearing the end and it’s approaching faster than we can imagine.
Thinking about this makes me wonder that if the world is going to end in a year or two, do I really want to be doing what I’m doing now? That’s why it is very important to really treat everyday as if it is your last. Looking at the brightside, I think we could learn something from this situation and reflect on the fact that life is more than just houses, possessions and an 8am-5pm job. I would never ever wish this kind of disaster on anyone.. the death toll has been far too high but I feel there is a kind of beauty in the way people have treated each other since the earthquakes.
So I think, more than ever before, we need to pray. Pray for the people out there, pray for this world. Pray so that God can reveal to us how we can make a difference in whatever time we have left. Meanwhile, continue praying for Japan, for the people who have lost everything, for the search and rescue teams, and for God’s mercy and grace to be upon them.
Japan, New Zealand, Libya, Mexico, and anywhere else in the world where people are hurt - BE STRONG. Rest assured, THE WORLD CARES.
Even with all that, Life is still amazing.
And because I am an animal lover, I’m at most hurt when I see dead pictures of animals.. and this one melts my heart..

A&S 2011
Wow. I am still a part of A&S. At first I was hesitant for a second stint, of course.. after being busy for quite some time.. but when I look at it, I think I enjoyed most of the time. I guess this year will be the best! We have the best crew! We are just starting but our bonding has been tremendous (especially during ocular).. So am I up for the challenge this year?
Go Green or Go Gray? Hmmm. We'll see.
Looking forward to Summer Outing already. I just hope Canyon Cove is the place to be.
