One week in my new work did not kill me... that's a good sign right? But I must admit that it was not easy adjusting from a relaxed work environment to such a high-pressured job. Yet, at the end of the day, I know I survived. Oatmeal and skyflakes became my best friends. I lose 3 pounds already for not eating like I used to. Good thing I have a very supportive teammates and they all welcomed me and treat me nicely. After all, maybe change is good for me. I have been in my previous department for almost seven years. Now, I am here to a very different working environment. People are busy and talking is almost not allowed as our work required the most detailed-conscious attention. Oh well, let's look at the brightside - I am learning new bank process. If the time comes that I will give up, I guess this learnings will matter in the future so here I am hanging on. More patience needed. Thank God I have some friends to brighten up my mood sometimes and of course, thanks to Viber. Nothing beats a call from someone special after a stressful day.

Isn't it ironic?
I've mentioned some tips in my previous blog on how to survive Valentines day as single but what happened to me last Vday was unexpected.
Well, first of all, I am transferring to the other department in our office. It was a surprise. I almost cried after hearing about it. I don't know, maybe because I feel so blessed with the team I have right now, we are so bonded that we are just like family. I'm sure am gonna miss the "FDs". In addition, I saw many couples outside the office, you can see some girls holding flowers and bouquet so I can't help but get a little jealous. Valentines has always been emo day for me. Though some are asking me out, if you are not him, I'd rather be alone and go home early. Anyway, after the announcement of my transfer, I received a surprised package from a friend in Australia. I couldn't actually believe it. It was my first time to have a package or gift on a Vday. I opened it and saw stuff toy, chocolates, and a Vday card with note on it. Maybe the thought of it couldn't outweigh my sad emotions. I should be happy right? But I don't know. I feel so sad. The thought of my transfer overwhelmed me on that day. But still, I called him to say thanks. I don't wanna cry, but I did without him noticing it through the sound of my voice. It was just a 15-minute call because I should head straight to the gym. Yeah, I scheduled my gym on a Valentines day. Why not? It was Tuesday after all. My friend asked me if we could have a chat but I refuse to. I chose gym over him. What happened to me? I felt so insensitive. But I thought going to the gym may ease the sadness but it didn't. I went home around 9pm and couldn't sleep. It was mixed emotions. I felt so bad on that day. It was "crayola" night.
The following day, I chose to be quiet but also realized that everything happens for a reason. Maybe change is good for me. It was just a moment of silence then afterwards, I am back to normal. By night, I talked to him about the package again and was so thankful. It was just that moment that I realized how sweet he was to do such an act. No one ever made me felt so special on a Vday except him. By this time, I am feeling guilty that I never had anything for him on that day just because of the fact that I never ever celebrated this Hearts day before. It was just an ordinary day for me.
Anyway, I don't know what will happen next. That's life. I have to adjust and cope with every situation - good or bad. Look at the brightside, I will learn new job and earn new friends hopefully. Goodbye to my friends and loved one in CAO, I am the overall first draft pick, be ready friends maybe you are next! =)
P.S. I am having the best time in my office especially because I am starting to be close to him again, my seatmate. Maybe fate isn't just so nice to me.. Oh well. To you, GOODBYE AGAIN.

Goodbye Wonderful 2011, Hello Promising 2012
Wow it is so amazing how time flies. It’s the time of the
year again when I do my list of the best things that happened to me this year.
2011 – I can say it’s been good to me. No serious problem at
all. Friends and family are still together. Oh, and still no love life... But
unlike last year, this time, it’s been a quiet one when it comes to the matters
of the heart. Though I met someone, but.. Go with the flow!
Overall, yeah, it’s been a great year. I am so looking forward to 2012. What’s
my goal next year? I hope that I may finally find “the one” – how many times did I mention this in my annual summary? I hope next year
I have reason to scrap this one haha. Of course, my ultimate plan is to try new
ventures abroad come June, just waited seven years in the bank. Supposedly,
December of this year is my target date but change of plans. Anyway, I am
hopeful for good things ahead. For now, I want to list some the memorable
events and trips of my wonderful 2011.
A&S Events – The whole 2011 as Green Team Rep, I'm proud that it all worked out.
Bicol – April 20-23 ~ stressful roadtrip but all worth it with all my good friends.

HSBC Christmas Party Mondiale 2011
Last November 24, the CEO announced the theme of the our much-awaited Christmas Party presentation - HSBC Mondiale 2011. Around the world? So as green team representative, I set aside my personal things to do during that day to be in the meeting session for the conceptualization of our presentation. Sigh. Haha.

For the past two weeks, it's been very busy with all the practices, meetings, and my daily job. Thank God that our choreographers are very patient with us and they are truly super duper nice to us. Mickey, Ryan, Adam, and Dani are the best. I love them. Without them, I think our practices would be so hard and miserable.
I am very thankful to the rest of the Green Team facilitators - Joe, Tinmay, Chari, Abi, and Memon for doing a good job assisting every matters may it be costume, props, logistics - just to make it through until December 9. Seriously, our effort in 2 weeks are undeniably amazing.

Then the moment came. December 9 it is. It was a very long day. Work at the morning, logistics, make-up, blocking, practice, costume change, presenting the award, costume change again, then the performance. I enjoyed our dance but I think the other teams really deserved the award. Still, we are very happy of our performance, actually the results are not my concern - it is actually the bond we shared while we are in the practice sessions. I miss them already. Anyway, we dance our hearts out in the party. Good entertainment production.

HSBC LIVE 4
After one and a half months of planning and practices, it all goes down to this moment, the most-awaited HSBC Live.
I am part of the K-POP girls aka HIGH FiVE of Green Team together with Kathy, Eunice, Crissy, and KJ. What can I say? These girls are amazing. You cannot hear any negative comments from them to any of the practices even if we go home late at night. They are all helpful, all game, and I just love them. I cannot ask anything from them. Of course, Joe is always the best choreographer, and all-around everything haha and this is new – make-up artist haha. Without Joe, I don’t know if we can ever gave that great performance. In our last day of practice, I really had a bad stomach and feverish feeling but thank God and Gatorade, I really made it to the final performance. I was really overwhelmed to the response of the people to our performance. Even if we are only 2nd place, I feel like we won as Champions. It was such a great feeling. I enjoyed every moment, except of course that last day when I am always in the handicapped CR haha. I walked like Zombie. It is an awful feeling.
To all the performers of GREEN Team, I know we didn’t win the top prize in Band, Dance, and HPOP but who cares, as long we did our best and we enjoyed every moment, we are considered WINNERS already. After all, it’s just a trophy. Memories are PRICELESS.

HSBC Summer Break 2011
Finally, after almost two moths of preparation, the HSBC Summer Outing has just finished. Not just finished, we did it with flying A&S colors! Woohoo!
What a true feeling of fulfillment!
I'm not biased. But the night party was the best ever party I've experienced so far. This was nothing compared to the Bora party and the previous summer outing I've attended. Wow.
I'm so proud of being part of the A&S Team 2011. These bunch of people are the best. We really have built tremendous bonding moments in Canyon Cove itself. The way we arranged things and made it all possible was really great. I can remember many panic moments day before but still we pulled it off on the day itself. It was a very tiring, exhausting, and one of the "i-look-dugyot" days of my life. We really had a great time and we let it all-out in that party maybe that's why we are all some kinda tipsy and drunk. Haha.

A&S 2011 Teambuilding
Last April 15-16, 2011 we had our A&S 2011 Teambuilding.
First stop is the food tasting in Canyon Cove, Nasugbu for the HSBC Summer Outing. We also had our full-team ocular again of the place. Unfortunately, food here is not so good so we will maybe be back again for more food choices.
Afterwards, we headed to Lago De Oro, Batangas for our official Teambuilding.
Actually our teambuilding only consists of wake boarding, taboo, big chicken, swimming, dinner, dancing, and manila beer it is!
Wow. I can imagine summer outing with A&S 2011 organizers + manila beer = riot. Haha.
I am actually amazed with the outcome of this overnight.
With just a little time, I think we really bonded.
It is fun and cool to be with this group.
Loving every perks I'm getting here.
I'm looking forward to more bonding moments, but this time, meetings for the summer outing. It's gonna be one heck of a job! Hopefully we can make it all smooth sailing and a successful one.

Trivia Night!
Wow.
Finally this is over.
Just a one night event but Cha & I have been preparing for this in like 3 weeks!
I did all the questions with some contributions from the A&S but hell yeah it is hard to choose the questions for some reason! Luckily I have my internet in the office so I got the chance to really check the correct answers.
It's our first time to really be in-charge of the Trivia Night so not everything was perfect.. we forgot to reserve a projector/screen/permit before the event itself.. thankfully Sir Dennis Galimba was nice to me he did the permit quickly.. thanks also to the Admin team for the screen and to CAO for the projector haha. At the end of the day, I felt a little stressed but more importantly I am more than happy. Everything just went well and everyone is happy. I think everyone enjoyed the event. I actually prepared 20 questions per round but only 8-10 questions were asked due to time constraint. My favorite would be the "Joseph the dreamer" answer! Winner!
Congrats to Yellow & Blue Team.
They really deserved to win.
Green Team struggled in the Difficult round. Geez. But we will be more ready by July.

A&S 2011
Wow. I am still a part of A&S. At first I was hesitant for a second stint, of course.. after being busy for quite some time.. but when I look at it, I think I enjoyed most of the time. I guess this year will be the best! We have the best crew! We are just starting but our bonding has been tremendous (especially during ocular).. So am I up for the challenge this year?
Go Green or Go Gray? Hmmm. We'll see.
Looking forward to Summer Outing already. I just hope Canyon Cove is the place to be.

A&S Thanksgiving Party 2010
I super enjoyed our A&S Thanksgiving Party 2010 last night! Of all the A&S Activities I had in three months, this is my most favorite!
I am not a drinker but hell yeah I really make the most out of the free booze c/o Boss Lance.
We also had fun because of Spens a.k.a Shalala doing the A&S Blind Items. My gosh I missed a lot of them because most of the blind items are those things that happened last A&S Summer Outing which I am not present. But they still told me who is the blind item. Spens is really funny!!! Super like. After the blind items, we played 0-0-7 Bang Ahh --> the reason why I had the most shots. I was surprised that I didn't quit and never really got drunk and fainted. But Joel noticed me staring for a moment in the shot glass that I am unaware of and they all laughed! After the laughing sessions, we took our time holding the microphone especially Spens, Cha, Jeric, and Sir Gani. I was amazed how drunk they are that they loved my voice when I sang "Luha" by Aegis and Spens was like "Girl, ang ganda ng boses mo ha!" so I finished the song while Spens rendering the second voice.. so funny! After that, me & Spens did the remix version of "Ulan" by Cueshe. Then I had the duet of "Stupid Luv" with Jeric. And for the finale, I had "Bakit Ba Ganyan?" & "Creep" duet with Sir Gani.
This night was really fun. This maybe our last time together. I am truly happy that I got the chance to participate in the A&S activities and be with these wonderful people especially funny moments with Spens. I will miss my busy times with A&S. I have learned so many things and known so many people because of this. So Goodbye and Thank You A&S 2010!!!

ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2010
With 5 free tickets from Joe c/o Mickey Perz, we were able to watch the annual ABS-CBN Christmas Special last December 14 at the Araneta Coliseum. Wow. The show was spectacular. The productions are sooo freakin' amazing. Of course, all I want to see among the Kapamilya stars are Toni Gonzaga & Zanjoe Marudo. But my favorite part is when Arnel Pineda did the Air Supply medley along with the UST Singers & Orchestra. Goosebumps. Also, many were touched in Gary V's solo rendition of "I will be here" and "Warrior is a Child". I saw some people crying in the audience. Overall, it was one of the best concerts I ever watched. I can't wait to watch it again on the telecast tomorrow.
