Lunch Buffet @ Marriott Cafe

This afternoon, we are fortunate to experience the 50% off discount in Marriott Cafe in celebration of their 3rd year anniversary.

For Php775, I guess we paid more than enough because of their sumptuous lunch offering. You have the Pasta station, Salad station, Chinese station, indian station, japanese station, and of course the dessert station.

They also have US primerib steak which I love. But one thing is missing again.. tempura!!! Still, we have plenty of dishes to try so our money were still worth it. They have shrimp, mussels, and oysters that you can request for grilling. You can also order your own style of noodles, mongolian, and pasta.

The dessert station is one of the best that I had. First time to try unlimited gelato in a buffet. They have like 10-12 flavors of it which include hazelnut nutella, tiramisu, black forest, strawberry, mango, vanilla, etc. I had 8 scoops!!!!

Their sweets in the refrigerator are all so delicious and their fruits are complete which includes my favorite kiwi and dragonfruit.

Well, I must say that this is one of the best buffet eventhough the main dishes are few, they have many stations to choose from. Overall, it was a nice experience. If this is a regular rate though, I will not comeback unless I am craving for good gelato and desserts.

Last March, I availed this service from Sun since I am constantly using wifi during my free time.

This is a very helful device and I find it fast. For those who are asking, yes it is really good and fast enough to check FB, twitter, mail, skype, viber, or even download movies but at 20kbps rate only. You can watch youtube but also with minimal buffering rate. Still, for 799 a month unlimited, this is ver y cheap and handy. I actually have a friend who is using smart and he connects with me since Sun is faster than his own wifi.

I recommend it! You can connect up to 5 device and the speed will be the same.

Lunch Buffet at Midas Cafe Hotel

I booked 13 vouchers in Metrodeal last September and used it this afternoon.

Upon arrival, we are welcomed by the friendly staff and gave our table.

The ambiance of the cafe was great and everything is clean including the restroom.

The food? Well, heads up because for me, a buffet is not complete without tempura. I was a little disppointed to know that they don't have the tempura and the prime rib carving. But thankfully, their dessert outweighed my tempura & prime ribs cravings. They have the best dessert station!!! The main dishes are limited though. They have noodle station, pasta station where you can order for yourself. They have bread station and grilling station for the raw foods like mussels, salmon, kebab, chicken satay, & pork liempo (which is my favorite of all).

The dessert is overflowing! Crepe station (kiwi, cherry, blueberry, peach), ice cream (avocado, cookies & cream, pistachio), big chocolate fondeau, fruits station, creme brulee, halo-halo, and lots and lots of other sweets.
