American Idol Top 24 - Revealed!
Too bad Colton Dixon didn't make it to Top 24.
Amazingly, the 2 Filipinos, Thia Megia and Jun Clint Gamboa made it to Top 24.
Thia's voice is unique which maybe what the judges sees in her but she needs to improve her confidence on stage. Gamboa on the other hand can sing the high notes but sorry to say I was turned off with his attitude in the Hollywood week. I don't like him..
My personal favorite is Paul McDonald after watching his "Blackbird" rendition.
I also like Tim Halperin and Robbie Rosen.
And of course, Lauren Alaina for the girls. Kinda remind me of Allison Iraheta.
Here's the official list of the Top 24:
Top 12 Boys
1. Clint Jun Gamboa

3. Brett Loewenstern
4. Casey Abrams
5. James Durbin
6. Jovany Barreto
7. Jordan Dorsey
8. Scotty McCreery
9. Robbie Rosen
10. Paul McDonald
11. Jacob Lusk

Looking forward to a season to remember! woohoo!
NBA All-Star Weekend 2011
Justin Bieber won the Celebrity shootaround contest MVP.. such a kid! (haha!) Sorry I'm a Bieber fan but this is funny..
John Wall should have shared the MVP trophy with Cousins.
I always enjoyed watching the All-Star Weekend especially the Dunk Contest. There are so much hype with Griffin joining the event. But I think the REAL winner should be McGee. If Griffin jumped over the roof of the car then that's amazing. Well, maybe McGee should try again next year.
Ibaka's free throw line dunk should be 50 but I think the judges are looking for the "hangtime".. DD's behind the legs dunk off the backboard was nice too.
Well, anyhow, the Clippers rookie dazzled the crowd - thanks to his coach, Kenny Smith and the nice car!
Unfortunately, I didn't had the chance to watch the All-Star game (as usual!) but I saw the highlights. The West overcame the East with a final score of 148-143. From the very start of the game, I know that Kobe wanted to win the MVP by scoring as many as he can and showing his "young" knee in the game by dunking baseline and by posterizing Lebron.
Kobe Bryant took home his fourth MVP award for the game. Thanks to clutch shooting from Durant.
Overall, this year's event, in Los Angeles, did deliver some entertainment.
I'll end with this quote:
Justin Bieber's New Haircut
The world's famous Canadian Pop-R&B singer recently had his famous locks cut and they are now listed on the internet auction site with the current top bid at $7,200.
Justin also dropped by Ellen DeGeneres' show and brought her some of his cut hair, for a belated
birthday present. He told Ellen that he got inspired by how Ellen make her hair.
The world's famous Canadian Pop-R&B singer also suggested that Ellen auction it off for charity.
Here's how the interview goes:
Ellen: Look at your cute little haircut! You got a brand new haircut. Don’t you love his haircut? Cheers I like it.
Justin: I was inspired by yours.
Ellen: By my haircut?
Justin: By yours.
Ellen: I know, eventually it’d come around. It’s adorable. Were people like, “Hey, don’t cut it!” Were people freaking out?
Justin: Yeah, but I was like, “I don’t really care.”
Ellen: I like it because you can’t do the same thing over and over again. You have to change it up. I think it’s great. I love your haircut.
Justin: Thank you.

Lakeshow
We are now on a 4-game winning streak.. and all on the road. Good job Lakers!
With all the rumors surrounding the Lakers now, and despite their mediocre play throughout the season, I still think they can win the title - if and only if they play like this - you know.. the "Mamba mode" and the strong performance by Gasol, Drew, and Lamar.
BTW, I loved the throwback jersey!
Next up for the Lakers are the Orlando Magic on Monday.
This is gonna be one heck of a ballgame!

127 Hours
Warning: This film is not for wusses. I'm talking to myself.
The story: Guy gets stuck under a rock for 127 hours. That's that.
Startling, but excellent material.
It’s based on the frightening true story of Aron Ralston.
While trapped for 127 hours, he had premonitions, and all of them came true 3 years later after the accident - he met his wife then had a son.
Truly amazing and inspirational movie.
Good watch. James Franco is superb.
Like I said, not for wusses.
Oh my gosh. This scene is really hard to watch. Until now, the bone breaking really got to me. I still can't believe it's possible. Ouch. I cringed when he literally ripped his own tendon off. It was like a rubber band. Oh and then using a rock to break his bone. Insane.
Could you do it? Given the same dire circumstances, could you take a dull multi-tool blade and cut off you arm? Could you break the bones, sever the tendons, and endure the unbelievable pain, and then finally rip that arm free?
Whew, this film is an adrenaline rush.
But excellent story, excellent cinematography, excellent acting.
What a great human perseverance story. I have been blown away.
This movie tells us that there is no force more powerful than the will to live.

The Tourist
But as a Johnny Depp fan, I must see this movie.
In the end, well, I loved this movie. I understand that people expect more from Johnny Depp and Angelina Jolie but come on, it wasn’t that awful. Watched it several times already and still never fail to impress me (actually it is just because of Johnny Depp.. Haha)
The storyline is just simple with a weird twist. But still Jolie’s prettiness and Johnny Depp’s hotness made up for everything. Actually, I can’t believe how beautiful she looked. It was the best thing about it. The movie wasn’t predictable at all.. I liked how it ended.
The credit song surprised me because it is one of my favorites.. ♫ Hold you in my arms, I just wanted to hold you in my arms. Far away, the ship is taken me far away, far away from the memorie of the people who care if I live or die. (MUSE, Starlight) ♫
Contrary to expectations, “The Tourist” is not an action film. It’s not even a straight out romance. It’s what I would call a “mystery romance”.
Because of this movie, the name Alexander Pearce would never be the same again.
Still, I loved the setting, the soundtrack, and Depp. He was so gorgeous here especially the train scene and the dance scene. I just enjoyed watching Johnny on the big screen again and see him act as someone a bit.. normal..
My favorite scene would be the train where they first met and the ending itself.
Venice, slow boat chases, opulence, fluff, comedy. Loved it.
