Good Morning Consul!!! Ü

I've waited for almost a month for this day... Finally it's October 30!!!

I woke up early in the morning, thinking and hoping only 1 thing... to pass my US Visa interview. I am sick because of cough and colds but I still managed to go in the US embassy on time with my family. My interview is 7:30AM and I was there by 6:30AM. The process is just easy and very efficient. But my gosh! I waited there until 10AM because there are many applicants. I think they arrived in the embassy by dawn. Anyway, I was so calm and cool before the interview. My number is 2088. I was just sitting, waiting for my turn to see the consul then when it's already 2080, I went to the restroom to pee Ü Maybe that's a sign of my nervousness. Here comes my turn... the consul is just too snobbish. He didn't smiled at me once. But still I am very in "smiling mode". Here's the interview transcript as far as I can remember:

1.) Why are you going to the US?
"I want to visit some tourist attractions and go sightseeing."

2.) Age?
"23"

3.) 23? (looking shocked)
"Yes."

4.) Single?
"Yes."

5.) Ever travelled internationally before?
"Yes last August this year in Bangkok Thailand."

6.) How much savings do you have?
"xxx Philippine Peso"

7.) How did you earn that?  (looking shocked, again)
"I worked in HSBC since 2005"

8.) Since your 18? (looking shocked, again, again)
"No, since I'm 19 years old"

9.) Who is Mario Guce?
"He's my sister's brother-in-law."

10.) Do you have any relatives or friends in the US?
"I have no immediate relatives there."

11.) I am not asking for immediate relatives, do you have any relatives or friends in the US?
"None." (KC, you're not listening!")

12.) Why going to the US now?
"My sister's going in the US on February or January..."

13.) And you're coming with her?
"Yes"

After about 10 seconds...

14.) You're visa is approved. Just wait for your passport and proceed to the courier service.
"Thank you very much!"

Whew! What a relief!!! I wonder if it's single or multiple entry... maybe next week, the passport will be delivered already. I'm so excited! Oh well, after US embassy, my family's waiting outside and I delivered the good news. We went to 168 and Quiapo... of course, it's one whole latta treat for myself ÜÜÜ Congrats to me. It has been one good day. Deo Gratias.
